Surrealism, since its origins with Breton, has evolved and acquired new dimensions in contemporary literature, adapting to hybrid and digital structures. This article analyzes its metamorphosis through a qualitative methodology with a hermeneutic and comparative approach, examining how fragmented narratives and uncertainty have permeated genres such as autofiction and horror. The discussion addresses its resistance to literary homogenization and its expansion into the digital realm, concluding that it remains a relevant narrative and aesthetic tool in new formats. The study presents cases of authors such as Enríquez, Labatut, and Danielewski, demonstrating that surrealism is not an extinct phenomenon but a continuously transforming mechanism. Keywords: Surrealism, contemporary literature, hybrid narrative, aesthetic resistance, literary evolution.
