In accordance with this commitment, the journal adheres to the principles established by the leading international Open Access initiatives:

In particular, Argos recognizes the significance of Latin American scholarly communication models based on academic collaboration, non-commercial knowledge management, and the construction of intellectual public goods accessible to all.

All content published in the journal is distributed under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0), which permits users to read, download, copy, share, reproduce, distribute, adapt, and reuse published materials in any medium or format for non-commercial purposes, provided that appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the original source of publication.

Argos provides immediate and free access to all of its contents, without embargo periods or access restrictions, based on the conviction that the unrestricted circulation of knowledge contributes to the advancement of research, critical reflection, and interdisciplinary dialogue in the fields of literary studies, linguistics, cultural studies, and related disciplines.

Likewise, the journal does not charge any fees for manuscript submission, peer review, editorial processing, or publication (Article Processing Charges, APCs). Furthermore, no subscription, registration, or access fees are required to consult its contents, ensuring free access for both authors and readers.

Authors retain the moral rights to their works and grant the journal permission to publish, disseminate, preserve, index, and distribute their contributions under Open Access conditions, in accordance with the applicable editorial license and institutional policies.

To ensure the long-term preservation and accessibility of its scholarly record, Argos promotes the inclusion of its contents in digital preservation systems, repositories, indexes, directories, and national and international academic databases.

Through this policy, Argos reaffirms its commitment to Open Science, the democratization of knowledge, and the unrestricted dissemination of academic and creative production in the fields of literary, linguistic, and cultural studies.
