For more than half a century, women's literature has been the subject of study not only from the perspectives of history and literary criticism, but also from theoretical perspectives. More recently, queer literature has also been the subject of study by literary analysts and critics who, as with women's literature, see in queer literature a novel approach that proposes, among other things, the full inclusion of the LGBTTTIQ+ community. This paper addresses both literatures (women's and queer) to begin reflecting on the opening of literary theory to gender.
