Lucela, Amadisian cycle, Female character, Amadis de GreciaAbstract
Among the secondary characters that surround a hero as important as Amadís de Grecia, stands out Lucela, his first lover, who after being replaced by another maiden seems to have finished her role in the amadisian cycle. This work focuses on tracing and analyzing the return of Lucela, in Florisel de Niquea II, to see the narrative function that the character has, no longer as a beloved lady, but as a maiden who evolves sentimentally, understanding that she is not a mere character. secondary and her story does not end because she is not the knight's beloved.
