Abstract

The research that precedes Letras Habladas has the objective of investigating the positive and negative factors that intervene in the empowerment processes that are generated in the women of Santa María Chiconautla in Ecatepec, State of Mexico, through collective reading and writing circles. -personal, to promote sorority. The methodology used from a feminist perspective consisted of conducting reading-writing workshops that addressed five fundamental issues in women's lives: 1) work and domestic care, 2) maternity, 3) migration and social conflict, 4) domestic violence, gender and 5) absences. From these, it was found that the processes of intimate and collective writing allow an emotional reflection that, in addition to allowing catharsis, gestates among sorority participants, it was also found that the femicide alert works in women as an ominous agent that leads them to modify and life and routine according to the danger to which they feel exposed. By identifying such factors, it is concluded that personal narratives are essential to understand social phenomena from subjectivities.
