Abstract

This article proposes the analysis of Una Oportunidad by Pablo Katchadjian under the proposal of 'poiesis of temporal rupture', since the work is structured from a fragmentary and discontinuous narrative, which helps to create variability in the time-space unit. to offer a new conception of spatiality and fiction. Therefore, the character-narrator, the protagonist of the novel, starts from the paradigm of the possibility of being and being to carry out an act of writing where the cognitive process to which he resorts will help him compose a self-help novel that breaks with the traditional schemes of literary creation and reception.
